It's time I started putting more personal content on my Blog page. About 6 months ago I decided to retire from nursing and enjoy a life of leisure - WRONG -. A life of complete leisure is not what it's cracked up to be. Leisure time is our reward for a job well done. I tried a few different activities to keep me busy and happy such as gardening, more exercise, reading, cooking and travel but I still woke up with the question " What am I going to do to-day?"
At that time my computer knowledge and skills were minimal and I found the computer a little (No a lot ) frightening but somehow I became aware of Mary Gersten and the Media Placement course she conducts.
Now my days are so full of learning and starting my own media placement business I have difficulty slotting in time for my leisure activities. Each day presents a new challenge - some easy like placing classified advertisements and some challenging ( for me anyway) like submitting a press release. Some days are frustrating and I continually find most things to do with computers are not always straight forward but I feel very rewarded and extatic when I successfully complete a task. As my husband says " Another box ticked ."
